RITA DHADURI DIES AT 62
Veteran actor Rita Bhaduri passed away yesterday morning. The 62-year-old actor was suffering from a kidney aliment and was admitted to a hospital for over 10 days. She is most popularly known for films like Sawan Ko Aane Do (1979), Julie (1975), Ghar Ho Toh Aisa, Beta, Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa, Raja (1995), Hero No 1(1997) and Kya Kehna (2000). The Film and Television Institute of India alumna, though not a Gujarati, achieved huge success in Gujarati films as a heroine. She was also seen in a number of popular television shows including Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, Khichdi and Hasratein. She was last seen on the TV show, Nimki Mukhiya.
