This Independence Day, John is ready to take on corruption

-

Writer-director Milap Milan Zaveri is ready with his actionthriller Satyameva Jayate, starring John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee and debutante Aisha Sharma, and the film promises to be high on entertainment. The trailer has received a thumbs up for its intense action sequences and hardhitting dialogues. Known for his power-packed writing, Milap, who has written the dialogues of films such as Kaante (2002) and Shootout At Wadala (2013), has once again penned some ‘seetimaar’ dialogues in this film.

John, who is no stranger to the action genre, is fighting against corruption and other grave social issues in this film, which will also see him share screen space with Manoj, who plays a cop. Both the actors have earlier worked together in Shootout At Wadala and share a wonderful bond.

The songs are also doing wonders. While Dilbar has become one of the mostviewed songs in the world,

NIKKHIL ADVANI,

Paniyon Sa, Tajdar-E-Haram and Tere Jaise have also been ruling the charts.

As the film releases today, producer Bhushan Kumar says, “Satyameva Jayate is packed with drama, action and emotion. It will remind you of the masala entertainers of the bygone days. John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee have delivered stellar performances in this competently directed thriller by Milap Milan Zaveri. We are optimistic about the way Satyameva Jayate will be received by the audience.”

Producer Nikkhil Advani adds, “Corruption affects every Indian, whether they are rich, poor, educated or uneducated. Regardless of your religion, this issue needs to be addressed, discussed, debated and if possible, curtailed. Milap has very effectively crafted a solid action thriller in the zone of the Salim-Javed’s ‘angry young man’ films. In those films, too, they had a solid message to deliver and similarly in Satyameva Jayate, Milap has championed our national message that truth will prevail.”

Satyameva Jayate, produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Emmay Entertainment, and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri releases today.
