Lisa Marie Presley says her therapist called her ‘a miracle’
Rock ’n’ roll legend Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley says that she’s proud of herself for overcoming drug addiction.
Presley, who has been open about her struggle with drugs, said that it was a huge effort to make her life better. ‘‘I’ve come a long way. I was not happy. The struggle in addiction, for me, started at 45 years old. It wasn’t like it was all my life. I am proud... I have a therapist and she’s like, ‘You’re a miracle. You really are.’ She’s like, ‘I don’t know how you’re still alive,’” Presley said on a TV show. The 50-year-old singer, who was married to pop legend Michael Jackson, added that she was now trying to “help others” with their addictions, using her own learnings. PTI
