Panzanella (panzanella)
Panzanella or panmolle is a salad that originated in Tuscany, Italy. It is a chopped salad made of bread and tomatoes. This is salad is popularly consumed as a summer dish. The salad is seasoned with onions and basil. Olive oil and vinegar is used as a dressing to make the salad flavourful. Other ingredients often used in making this salad are lettuce, olives, mozzarella, white wine, capers, anchovies and celery.
