Utkarsh takes up an unconventional role in his debut
Utkarsh Sharma is making his muchawaited Bollywood debut in Genius. One of the most promising newcomers of 2018, the actor has been working hard for his acting debut, putting in his best efforts to deliver a remarkable performance. Having honed his acting skills and dance from a really young age, the actor will be seen giving life to an off the edge character and some adrenaline-filled action scenes in the movie. Utkarsh, who is looking forward to the release of his debut film, shares, “It has been a long journey, firstly of understanding the movies and the craft and then immersing myself totally into the character and becoming it. Following that began the actual shooting ... So yes, I am really eager to see how the entire team’s hard work comes across.” The film, which has been directed by Utkarsh’s father, Anil Sharma, also marks the debut of Ishita Chauhan. Genius also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithun Chakraborty and Ayesha Jhulka in a guest appearance. The music of the film has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Genius — Dil Ki Ladai Dimag Se is presented by K.C Sharma and Kamal Mukut. The film, produced by Anil Sharma Productions and Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rock Star Entertainment, releases today.
