A quick read about the young and confused

Author Lakshmy Ramanathan’s book After The Storm captures the confusion of the young, ambitious minds. A young girl’s encounter with the world of journalism and her emotional journey with men is written in a fine and simple manner. The narrative is entertaining but falls short on the edginess of the plot. The author has tried to add different angles and layers to the story, which don’t allow you to lose attention. Thankfully, the volume of the book is a decent 200-something pages, which makes it a quick read if not a pageturner. Go ahead, if you are fine with a predictable tale that is funny and relatable to the love-struck yet confused millennial out there.
