Raising a toast to a decade oF excellence
It was an evening high on glitz, glamour, and grandeur as DLF Emporio, the finest luxury retail space in the country, kickstarted their 10-year anniversary celebration. The landmark moment was attended by the Capital’s glitterati and reputed names from the world of fashion, business, and hospitality.
Dinaz Madhukar, EVP, DLF Luxury Retail & Hospitality, called the completion of 10 years an exuberant occasion. “It feels just like yesterday when we started and it’s 10 years already. I am more excited about the journey ahead now. We are trying to request some of the larger brands to join us,” she said.
DLF Emporio donned a celebratory look, which was in sync with the significance of the event, with a bevy of floral and crystalised installations spread across the vast mall atrium. Designer Leena Singh of the Ashima-Leena duo said that they were one of the first designer brands to set shop at DLF Emporio, back in 2008, and the association has been memorable for them.
“They put a lot of effort with the designers, and they don’t treat us as tenants but as partners. They work very hard with us to make sure that the mall does well. They have lot of interest in the designers,” she shared.
Spotted at this glamourous do were Savitri Singh, Suneet Varma, Sriram Khattar, Shyamal Shodhan, Manav Gangwani, Timmy Sarna, Neeru Kumar, among others.
The menu for the event was elaborately curated by the mall’s in-house hospitality brand — SET’Z, and included an array of world cuisines and gastronomic delights.
Prashant Gaurav Gupta, Centre Head, DLF Emporio and The Chanakya, said, “DLF Emporio has been a pioneer in luxury retail in India and our journey over the last 10 years has been extremely rewarding. We are looking forward to creating even higher benchmarks in luxury retail.”
Designer Manav Gangwani, who has been associated with DLF Emporio since 2011, said, “It has been a fantastic journey. I am very happy to be here to celebrate this milestone. The DLF management is like a family to me. The customer response has also been great here.”
