UNVEILING A MULTI SUPER- SPECIALTY HOSPITAL

Former India cricket captain Rahul Dravid recently unveiled the state-of-the-art digitally enabled Manipal Hospital Dwarka, along with Dr Sudarshan Ballal, chairman, Manipal Hospitals in New Delhi

Manipal Hospitals, part of Manipal Education and Medical Group, one of India’s leading healthcare providers, launched its stateof-the-art, digitally-enabled, 380-bed multi-superspeci­alty Manipal Hospital Dwarka. Aimed at providing specialise­d tertiary and quaternary care, the hospital houses several centres of excellence — cardiac sciences, medical and surgical gastroente­rology, neuro sciences, oncology services, orthopaedi­cs and joint replacemen­ts, renal sciences - nephrology & urology, gynaecolog­y and pediatrics.

The group operates a chain of multi-specialty hospitals in Bangalore, Jaipur, Manipal, Mangalore, Goa, Vijayawada, and Salem. Manipal Hospital Dwarka is the group’s first hospital in the capital and 10th in the country. The group also operates a facility in Klang, Malaysia.

It also houses a robust fleet of ambulances, Manipal Ambulance Responsive Services (MARS), that are equipped with ICU services and trained drivers who can perform basic life support.
