Arjun-Parineeti starrer’s songs rock the charts
Actor Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are all set to present a rollicking love story as Param and Jasmeet in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Namaste England. While the duo is one of the mostloved pairs in Bollywood, the songs from the movie, too, have been loved by audiences.
The soundtrack is an interesting bouquet of romantic, party, Punjabi hip hop and qawwali songs. Composer Mannan Shah went ahead to recreate a raga-based track, making the songs honest to the film’s narrative. The first song that was released, Tere Liye, showcases the chemistry between Arjun and Parineeti, and is a slow love song. The numbers Bhare Bazaar and Dhoom Dhadaka are perfect Punjabi upbeat numbers that sound vibrant and fresh. The recently-released Rahat Fateh Ali Khan song, Tu Meri Main Tera, is a soulful melody that shows Arjun’s character follow his love interest, played by Parineeti, to London, after she runs away to fulfil her dreams. The song showcases the struggles he faces, in his attempts to reach for his love, bringing forth poignant sadness amidst hope.
“Arjun and Parineeti are winning the hearts of the audience with their offscreen love-and-hate relationship. They are seen replicating the same in the latest trailer with adorable moments engaging the interest of the viewers,” says a source.
Produced and directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film is presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen) and Reliance Entertainment in association with Blockbuster Movie Entertainers. Namaste England is all set to hit the theatres on October 18.
