Enjoy live music at this place
Music aficionados in the Capital have one more reason to rejoice. With a line-up of carefully curated events, Imperial
Spice has turned out to be more than just a dine-out space. From hosting international violinists to Bollywood recognised cellists and the very popular Traditional Nizami Brothers, they have them all covered. “A fortnight back, we hosted an international violinist Madina, and last week, we hosted Traditional Nizami Brothers,” says
Varun Khera, co-owner, Imperial Spice. And not only these, but there are also plans to set the stage for more artists for future events. “Our idea of Wednesday Live is to entertain clients with quality performances to make their dining experience even more memorable,” Khera adds.
The Imperial Spice strives to be more than just a restaurant. It is the outcome of a combined passion and love for food, the zeal to do something innovative, and the desire to give people an experience to remember. The interiors have been inspired by lotus, and the motif can be seen in the decor of the ceiling, in artefacts and in crockery. There’s also a private dining room for special occasions and get-togethers.
The menu features an extensive range of dishes divided into two parts— global and Indian. Their signature Pan Paneer Tikka, Turkish Pizza, Duck Khurchan Tacos, Imperial Kulcha, and Coco Mustard Prawns come highly recommended. Accompanying the food menu is an excellent selection of liquor and an array of concoctions. In desserts, the unique satintextured Lehsun Ki Kheer stands out from the rest. Additionally, they recently initiated Queen’s Brigade, a specially curated lunch, to celebrate womanhood. For entertainment, there are live gigs every Wednesday, covering genres like instrumental, acoustic and pop.
