Film industry gives thumbs up to this horror film
The supernatural thriller, Lupt, releases today across India and the film has already been receiving a lot of love from the industry after a special screening was held recently. The screening was attended by Sidharth Malhotra, Ayub Khan, Sushant Singh, music director Salim Merchant of Salim–Sulaiman duo, filmmakers Abhinay Deo, Bejoy Nambiar, Anees Bazmee, Rahi Anil Barve and Ahmed Khan.
Talking about the Prabhuraj-directed film, Sidharth Malhotra said, “I am totally spooked. The film is so wonderfully done. The way the sounds have been used, the prosthetics and the music, is at par with any other international film.”
Film-maker Anees Bazmee said, “I thoroughly enjoyed Lupt. There are many moments in the film that will spook you out. All the actors have done a splendid job.

Though the film, amazingly directed by Prabhuraj, is infused with horror elements, it also has a message highlighting the importance of family.”
“Horror films usually arouse fear in the hearts of audiences, but while watching this film, there will be moments where you would choke up. The best part is that the film is crisp and quick, spanning for about an hour and fifty minutes, and there is not one moment when you feel you are not hooked,” added Ahmed Khan.
