With festivities in the air, Delhi seems to be drenched in the flavours of Navratri. While worshipping Ma Durga, devotees observe fast, devoid of food made with onion and garlic. And now Sagar Ratna has joined the festivities as well. One can now indulge in a pious feast at any of its outlet in Delhi where they will be offering special Navratri dishes. Jayaram Banan, owner of the restaurant chain, says, “At Sagar Ratna, you can now gorge on delicious Samak Ki Idli, Sabudana Vada and Dosa made of permissible ingredients only.” For those who love Dosas, there is a special Navratra Dosa-mealoffer comprising Navratra dosa, Kurma, chutney, Sabudana kheer, papad and buttermilk. Banan adds, “Apart from that, we are also offering Navratra Special Thalis - an executive thali which includes Shahi Paneer, Aloo Tamatar, Samak Pulao, Singhare, Kuttu ki poori, Kheera Raita, Sabudana and Papad. The Deluxe version has two additional dishes, namely Veg of the day and Sabudana Kheer.” Sagar Ratna has also introduced some new dishes to spice up its Navratra offerings. Idli Chaat, one of their bestseller, has been modified with a Navratri twist into a very special Falahari Idli Chaat, made by using Samak idlis instead of the routine variety. Other new introductions include – Crispy Aloo Chaat, Navratra Tandoori Aloo and Navratra Paneer Dosa.

Since the navratra offer ends on Sunday, hurry up and visit your nearest Sagar Ratna outlet to feast your heart out, the pious way.
