Enjoy a tryst with Nizami cuisine here
The king of freshly cooked handi biryani and kebabs, Biryani By Kilo (BBK), has opened 14 outlets in the NCR covering Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Delhi. It is also setting up dine-in-outlets for a better customer experience at Noida Sector-135 and Connaught Place, N Block, outer circle.
BBK was founded by the food industry veterans with an aim at preserving the age old recipes of biryani, kebabs and kormas. Talking about it, Vishal Jindal, director and co-founder says, “BBK cooks fresh biryani individually in handis in the age-old Khansama style, and delivers it in the same handi to ensure freshness.” The restaurant uses Daawat Basmati rice aged naturally for two years and spices sourced directly from Kerala.
Jindal adds, “Food connoisseurs can enjoy Malabar, Ambur, Hyderabadi, Lucknowi, and Kolkata Biryanis under one roof now. New dishes have also been introduced such as the Chicken Ghee Roast - a popular Mangalorean chicken recipe.”
Not excluding the vegetarians from the taste brigade, BBK offers veg Nizami tradition food too, such as Paneer Nawabi, Peshawari Chole Biryani, etc. They offer a loyalty programme for online customers where they give ‘Phirni Tohfa’ on every order along with exciting cashbacks or discounts. BBK takes orders both online and through call centre. Prebooking the orders is advised as it takes 60 to 90 minutes for the delivery since the biryani is cooked fresh for every individual order. For Diwali and card parties, BBK has launched special packages for a get-together of about five to 20 people, so that it’s easy for the customers to order and enjoy. They also do catering for a party of about 40 to 100 people.
