Actor Sneha Wagh feels this is a good time to become actors. Given the influx of content on different platforms — TV, films, and the web, there’s a constant demand for actors, especially fresh faces. While that is a plus, the difficult part is survival.

“In today’s world, it’s not that difficult to become an actor. Even people who aren’t good are becoming actors today, because of the available opportunities. But only those survive who have talent, passion, and the ability to work hard. People who don’t have any of the three fade out after a period of time,” she says.

A believer in destiny, she says that luck only favours you when you do something with all your heart.

Sneha shares that her journey began organically and then she decided to hone her skills. “I was picked as a classical dancer first, then I became a theatre actor. I was a part of Marathi movies and later, I started being seen in Hindi TV shows. But I made sure to learn the craft while on the job so I could grow. That’s the reason why my journey has been longer, unlike what’s happening these days. There was more struggle,” she recalls.

Meanwhile, Sneha was recently in news for another reason. Actor Faisal Khan’s ex girlfriend Muskaan Kataria alleged that his proximity with Sneha as the reason behind their breakup.

Denying it, she said that Faisal is a family friend. When asked if this entire episode has affected her friendship with Faisal, Sneha said “it didn’t”. Prod her further, and she adds, “I’ve already said what I had to. I have nothing more to add to that.”
