Ride on ‘jugaad’ with Made in China
After the success of Stree (2018) and Luka Chuppi, producer Dinesh Vijan is back with yet another quirky, out-of-the-box story this Diwali with Made in China. Celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship and the journey of a Gujarati businessman, Raghu Mehta, Made in China is headlined by Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani along with Paresh Rawal, Sumeet Vyas and Gajraj Rao. This film, produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, promises to be an incredible follow up to the commercially viable yet noteworthy content line-up that the makers are well known for.
“Right from the time that Mikhil (Musale) brought this script to Maddock, to us partnering with Jio Studios and to signing on this exceptional cast — Made in China has been a product of grit and perseverance. Ironically, these are also the two key elements that define Raghu Mehta’s jugaadu business journey in the film,” says producer
Dinesh Vijan.
Talking about his process of backing projects and assessing their merit, he says,
