She will be in the Australian continent to unveil the ICC Men and Women’s T20 World Cup trophies for the 2020 series. The cricket tournament is scheduled from 18 October to 15 November next year.

Her late father-in-law, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was one of the biggest cricketers of his time, so the begum of the Pataudi family was the apt choice for the unveiling. She will be the first Indian actor to be invited for the prestigious ceremony.” says a source. Kareena will soon be seen in Good Newwz, opposite Akshay Kumar and Lal Singh Chaddha co-starring Aamir Khan.
Talking about the event, Kareena says, “I am honoured to be a part of this prestigious evening. I would like to
encourage all these women out there who are playing for their respective countries to pursue their dreams. It’s truly empowering to see them stand tall on an international platform. They are an inspiration to one and all. My late father-inlaw was one of the greatest cricketers, who played for the Indian cricket team and it is an honour for me to be unveiling the trophies.”
