Why Pulkit considers Arshad ‘a tremendous help’
Some actors are very particular about not doing a multi-starrer film, but Pulkit Samrat has no qualms in sharing the screen space with many other actors in the lead. In fact, in his next film, Pagalpanti, Pulkit says he got to learn a lot from the bunch of talented actors.
He says his co-star in the movie, Arshad Warsi, has been the biggest strength. “Arshad has been a tremendous help because he improvises a lot, not only for himself but for other actors as well. John (Abraham, costar) has a different kind of comic timing and Arshad had different comic timing. And all I was doing was juggling between the two.
It was a fantastic experience,” Pulkit shares.
Calling it one of the best acting experiences so far, the 35-year-old says, “We would look forward to going to the set every morning. The entire cast and director Anees Bazmee were amazing, and we shared a great bonding. It was very encouraging and I have learnt a lot in this entire process.”
The actor, who will next be seen in director Bejoy Nambiar’s Taish, will be doing a revenge drama for the first time.
“I play a carefree guy who is fond of bikes [in this film]. I’m very excited to work with Bejoy. I’ve been a fan of his work... Anything to be a part of that film,” Pulkit says.
