Agood 2019 and a great 2020 is what’s on actor Ankita Lokhande’s mind. She made her big screen debut this year with Manikarnika, and is all set to do her second film, Baaghi 3. Adding to that, she is celebrating her birthday today!

“I am actually sitting and planning what to do and not to do while talking to you,” says a happy Ankita. “I’m not too keen to throw a party or something. I am not sure what to do. Maybe [I’ll go to] some place where I can chill, or go for self-healing. It is very important these days. You work so hard, you need your me time. I have been thinking about taking out time for myself,” she adds.

While Manikarnika saw her pull off stunts as Jhalkari Bai, the third instalment of the Baaghi franchise will see her in a totally different avatar. Without disclosing much, she says, “I am sure it will be a surprise for my fans. I play a girl-next-door, minus any stunts, who is very talkative. Shooting for it has been lovely, and it was an awesome experience to work with Ahmed sir (Khan, director), Shraddha (Kapoor), Tiger (Shroff) and Riteish (Deshmukh). I am hoping ki jo bhi kiya hai, fans love it.”

Hinting at working in more films, Ankita, who turns 35 today, adds, “I’m looking forward to 2020, so that I can see Baaghi 3 and more films. On my last birthday, the trailer launch of Manikarnika took place, so it was all about that film. I am hoping that I can entertain people, which I have been doing for the last six to seven years. God has given me everything. I am so overwhelmed by the love people around me have given.”
