A‘worried’ Manning and the Spears conundrum
Just days after actor Taryn Manning of the Orange is the New Black fame wrote a cryptic post about being “worried” for her former co-star, Britney Spears, the latter was spotted wearing a medical boot.
Spears, who flaunted her fit figure in a red crop top and white shorts, was wearing a medical boot on her left foot while on her way to a tanning salon, according to thesun.co.uk.
This comes just days after the 41-yearold actor expressed her concern for Spears, with whom she starred in Crossroads in 2002. Manning posted a photo with Spears and Zoe Saldana on Instagram and captioned it: “Not trying to get likes. I could care less. I am worried about my friend and co-star. Too many times we let one go a-stray and never bother to poke our heads around. ‘Not my chair, not my problem’.” Manning soon had to apologise for her comments after receiving backlash from Spears’ followers.
She wrote, “First off, my apologies to Britney. I had no media agenda. Never was I seeking attention, nor press via Britney.
The reason why I posted was because many fans of her contact me daily BEGGING me to do something,” adding, “I used to not respond. Then, I started to ask for proof of these allegations they presented. Finally, I posted because it was eating away at me for months. What if there is something wrong? I wanted my post to be about the forgotten ones, hence the sentiment. I did not expect the amount of hate in my inbox though.”
The concern comes from the fact that last year not only did the 38-year-old singer spend one month in a rehab, but she also cancelled her Las Vegas residency after her father became ill.
