TESTING TIMES FOR AASHKA AND BRENT
The actor is juggling between Mumbai and Goa to spend quality time with her husband
Whether it’s about mastering yoga, promoting pole fitness, learning to shoot guns or starting her own beauty brand, actor Aashka Goradia has done it all with much élan and has been a true inspiration to many women. And behind all her success and achievements, there’s her husband Brent Goble, who has supported her in making her dreams come true.
“We’ve been together for the past three years and he has helped me to achieve all my goals and fulfil all my dreams. And our love has only grown manifold,” Aashka says.
The actor is now doing the same for Brent, supporting him in his yoga school that he started in Goa a few months back. And due to this, the couple is juggling between Mumbai and Goa to be able to spend quality time together.
“Now has come the time when I stay 15 days in Mumbai, working on different projects, pole fitness and reading scripts, and 15 days in Goa with Brent. That’s how we manage to stick together and I miss spending time with him. These are the testing times for us,” the 34year-old shares.
Though the actor is busy working on her beauty brand, her acting project hasn’t taken a back seat and she is still looking out for some good projects. “I’m hungry for good scripts and looking for something interesting to come my way. I’ve been fortunate enough to experiment with diverse roles. Now, I’m looking to do quality work over quantity,” says Aashka who was last seen in TV show Daayan.
Be it playing a girl next door or a grey character, Aashka has been typecast for portraying similar kinds of roles on the small screen. But she believes in taking it in her stride and feel rather positive about it.
“I don’t see a problem in being called upon for playing similar types of characters. I don’t get affected by it. I feel you’re good at playing such parts and people liked your performance in such roles so much that they want to see you in that avatar more. I gave my best to something that people really like and want to see me that more. And till the time I’m happy about it, I’ll continue to explore it,” Aashka ends.
