Jasmin Bhasin’s decision to bid adieu to an ongoing supernatural show she was a part of has garnered attention. Though the actor and the maker clarified that the parting was amicable, many felt her journey came to an abrupt end.

“My journey didn’t end abruptly and I don’t regret anything. I miss being a part of the show, but that’s how things work. Whatever time I was on the show, I did it well. The journey was amazing. It was a beautiful team to work with, I was the happiest when I was on the sets,” she reveals. The show, backed by Ekta Kapoor, is currently in its fourth season. And Bhasin had mentioned her enthusiasm to collaborate with Kapoor for the first time. Ask whether we would see the pair working together soon and she is quick to add, “I would love to work with Ekta Kapoor and her team again and why not? Look at the kind of amazing content they have been creating,” Bhasin, who is currently on a break and considering the offers she has, was also in the news for extending support to her friend Sidharth Shukla during his stint on a reality show recently. Many slammed Sidharth for his behaviour, especially towards women, and felt that he did not deserve to win the show.

“I’m happy that he won...he was totally deserving because it’s not easy to stay in that house...it challenges you mentally, physically, emotionally and I know it was very tough for him. I don’t think he was disrespectful. When he got angry, he said certain things, but I don’t think he meant any harm. There are others who tried poking him and making him respond or react to those things so that he looks bad,” she says.

The Tashan-e-Ishq actor isn’t keen to be a part of this reality show at present, but is quick to add, “never say never”. “It’s not an easy journey...the show really tests you a lot. I think I am mentally and emotionally too sensitive to [handle] that kind of stress and pressure,” she adds.

My journey didn’t end abruptly and I don’t regret anything. Obviously, I miss being a part of the show.
