Actor Rukshar Dhillon, who was recently seen alongside actor Sunny Kaushal in the movie Bhangra Paa Le, is all set to make a mark in Bollywood after making her presence felt in the South Indian film industry.

For someone in the film industry, apart from being glamorous, it’s also important to stay fit. Dhillon, who starts her day by having 21 soaked raisins on an empty stomach and warm water infused with gooseberry (Amla), ginger and turmeric, says, “This helps boost my immunity so I make sure to follow the routine daily.”

Dhillon drinks around a litre of water followed by bulletproof coffee — coconut oil, ghee and a coffee shot. She opts for a mix of carbs and protein for breakfast, which includes eggs, dosa, oats or yogurt. While the actor’s lunch mostly consists of grilled chicken or dal rice and salad followed by nuts, coconut water or a granola bar, soups and salads cover the 26-yearold’s dinner regime.

Not just a diet plan, but the actor also follows a fitness regime which involves weight training and yoga in the morning and stretching exercises in the evening.

“Fitness is not being lazy. It keeps you active and keeps you energetic throughout the day. If you are not motivated enough, then try dance workout. It is enjoyable for the mind and body as well. It will refresh you. I also keep a check on my calorie intake and make sure I do not exceed it,” shares Dhillon, adding that she gives at least 20 minutes to her skin every day.

“My go-to face pack is the one with sandalwood. Mix sandalwood powder with almond oil and rosewater. You can add yogurt to this pack as well. Just apply, let it dry and then wash your face,” recommends Dhillon.

For that fresh look, the actor suggests rubbing ice and aloe vera pulp on the face.

“Another scrub that I often use is made by mixing coconut oil, filter coffee powder, sugar and lemon. Just scrub your face with it and wash it out. This is will remove dirt from the pores and will freshen it up,” adds Dhillon.
