‘STAYING HOME IS MY SUPER POWER’
Actor Gal Gadot urges everyone to stay home and take care of loved ones
With several celebrities going under quarantine in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, actor Gal Gadot has said that staying home is one of her super powers.
The actor took to social media to share a mirror selfie from her house, wearing comfy joggers and T-shirt, paired with leopardprint velvet slippers.
“Staying home is my super power and urs! Please every1 take care of yourself, ur loved ones and us all,” the Wonder Woman wrote.
“The sooner we all stay home and keep ourselves from catching this very contagious virus, the sooner we can go back to our lives,” her post further read.
The impact of the coronavirus pandemic has been felt worldwide, and key shootings, events and concerts have been cancelled. While the production of Avatar sequel has been shut down in New Zealand, production on The Matrix 4 has also been suspended. The latter was in production since February, and moved from San Francisco to
Berlin, where the team was preparing to shoot this week.
The shoot of the late night sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live has also been stalled, and it will be delayed until further notice as a precautionary measure.
Elton John and Billie Eilish are among singers who have scrapped tours. Eilish took to Twitter to follow up her decision to postpone some shows last week, sharing that all her remaining “Where Do We Go?” North American tour dates would be rescheduled.
She also urged fans to follow health guidelines: “Don’t panic, but don’t be stupid. It (coronavirus) is a really big deal right now and it is not a joke.”
