Cohen, Underwood now join list of celebs testing positive for Covid-19
T alk show host Andy Cohen and television personality Colton Underwood are the latest in the list of celebrities tested positive for coronavirus. In an Instagram post, Cohen said that he’s focusing solely on his recovery after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
“After a few days of selfquarantine, and not feeling great, I have been tested positive for Coronavirus,” Cohen captioned a solemn selfie. His health update came just hours after he announced “WWHL @ Home,” a “lowertech” version of his late-night talk show that was scheduled to go on air on Sunday with Jerry O’Connell, Nene Leakes and Ramona Singer as guests, according to USA Today. But as of now, the plans stay cancelled.
Talking about the same Cohen added,“As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we are putting a pin in that as of now so that I can focus on getting better.”
Cohen expressed gratitude to all the medical professionals “who are working tirelessly for all of us” and urged everyone to “stay home and take care of themselves”.
Meanwhile, Underwood, who was tested for Covid-19 after experiencing symptoms days ago, shared the news about the same in an Instagram video.
“I want to let you guys know: I’m 28, I consider myself pretty healthy, I work out regularly, I eat healthy, and I became symptomatic a few days ago, got my test results back today, and they are positive,” he said in the video.
Underwood also said the virus has left him “exhausted” and that he’s been selfquarantined before his diagnosis, but is isolated with girlfriend Cassie Randolph and her parents, who, he says, might be infected too.
Celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju and Daniel Dae Kim have also been tested positive for the virus.
