Quarantining far and away from the city life
While some are quarantining at their homes in cities, there are also many celebrities who are somewhere in the mountains and remote places.
The shoot for his next project made Manoj Bajpayee, 51, travel all the way to Uttarakhand. He shares, “We can see the Himalayas and greenery from our property. What else does one need? We go on treks. I am watching content, reading and spending time with my family.”
Neena Gupta, 60, decided to take some time off in March, and went to her house in Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand, along with her husband. And her Instagram is proof that she is having the time of her life!
She cooks, goes for long walks, has started learning gardening and keeps herself busy by cleaning the house. On how she feels being free, the actor says, “I am just lucky, thank you God.”
Jackie Shroff, meanwhile, is at his farmhouse in Khandala, Maharashtra. Despite challenges such as low network connectivity, the 63-year-old says, “I’m enjoying this time in solitude. I do a lot of gardening, pluck vegetables, and clean up the farm. I exercise and catch some sun, and also make time to watch movies every day.”
Salman Khan, 54, went for a two-day vacation to his Panvel (Maharashtra) farmhouse, but has been stuck there for over a month. He is fishing, gardening and taking care of his horses. And Dharmendra, 84, who is at his farmhouse near Lonavala, Maharashtra, is keeping busy by ploughing the field on his tractor and plucking fruits. Amit Sadh is quarantining in Nainital, Uttarakhand, for almost 40 days, and has been sharing posts of his beautiful surroundings on social media. Kangana Ranaut, too, is in isolation in her hometown, Manali, and she is spending time with her family.
