HT reader Vaibhav Rao sent us this picture of grey hornbills that visited his home in Dadar, Mumbai. Fashion student Karina Bondareva from UK was supposed to be in New York in April to assist a celebrity stylist in the Met Gala. As Covid-19 ruined her plans, Karina spent days re creating Car di B’s 2019 Met Gala look out of paper, glue and cling film! Her creation went viral, making her believe that sometimes, a missed chance can lead to a greater good.

Imagine meeting your lost pet after 12 years! Vicky Swainson from UK was astounded when she got a call from a vet who scanned her cat Gucci’s microchip. He had gone missing in 2008. Vicky used to walk two miles daily from her new home to the one she left, hoping to find Gucci.

Leora also happens to be a cancer survivor, she has lived through World War II, and she also defeated pneumonia last year. Her secret formula: love for all.
