LOVING ANIMALS

Animals and humans can co-exist beautifull­y if we all follow the ideals of kindness. Brett Bacon rescued a young bald eagle from drowning in Lake Windermere in British Columbia. ”He tried to fly away, and he just couldn’t get out of the water at all,” he said. Bacon and his partner took the boat back to shore and set the eagle free. An achievemen­t that Bacon can boast about to his son.

LITTLE ANGEL

Babies are little angels and parents live to see them smile. Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriade­s's son, Arik, recently turned 1, and they shared adorable pictures of the little munchkin, showing his face for the first time, on social media. They're grateful for his presence in their lives. Boy, is Arik is adorable.

WHAT AN INSPIRATIO­N

Where there is a will, there is a way, so 18-year-old Anurag Tiwari, a farmer’s son, braved all hurdles and scored 98.2% in his Class XII exams. The boy is now heading to Cornell University in the United States on a full scholarshi­p to pursue Economics. Way to go!

Despite urbanisati­on and truckloads of comfort available in developed economies, one still yearns for simple things. A woman from Haryana, who went to Canada, reportedly got a western bed converted into a traditiona­l woven bed called ‘khat’, to get sound sleep.
