REDEFINING CAMPUS IN POST COVID-19 WORLD
Gearing up for the post Covid-19 world, Little Angels School, Sonipat, is taking a major leap forward by redefining its campus. Angels Junction 1 (senior wing) and Angels Junction 2 (junior wing) were recently inaugurated at the newly structured Covid-19 safe Little Angels School, Sonipat Campus, by the chief guest, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Education Minister, virtually, and the executive guest, Kanwar Pal Gujjar, Minister of Education, Government of Haryana.
Also present at the occasion were Neha Chandra Arya, director and Asha Goyal, principal.
“Little Angels School, Sonipat, is the first school in India to have taken such phenomenal measures in these adverse circumstances,” says Ashish Arya, chairman.
Rising above all challenges, the school has stepped up to improve the security of the campus. “Some of the steps include installing sensor-operated contactless turnstile gates (at Angels Junction 1 and Angels Junction 2) to enforce one-way traffic of children, thermal scanners, sensorised hands-free sanitiser dispensers, UVC lamps to disinfect the surface with UV rays, UV LED strips in all school buses, hands-free water taps, touch-free urinal flushes, foot paddles instead of door handles, etc,” adds Arya.
Apart from this, to improve the quality of online teaching and learning, full HD 50” smart LED TVs have been installed in every classroom, and the whole campus is equipped with high speed internet connectivity of 250mbps.
At present, the Angelians are making their presence felt in every sphere of life — be it front-line warriors, a poet and author, an environmentalist or a sports icon. The special children of Soniya Arya Memorial Little Angels Inclusive School have proved their mettle not only in academics but at district, state, national and international level sports championships, too.
