For me, watching on the giant screen with that kind of sound makes the experience real. Our emotions become bigger when we laugh, cry, sob, and clap together. There are certain films, such as Christopher Nolan’s latest movie, that I wanted to watch on the big screen.

FREDDY DARUWALA

The submersive experience in a dark room with a huge screen is larger than life. The whistles, the laughter… the collective response is a phenomenal experience. For generations, going to a cinema on a Sunday or a holiday with loved ones is like a ritual.

I miss watching early morning shows while sipping on my coffee and enjoying my samosa. Great filmmakers create experiences thinking about the big screen where you don’t miss out even on the minutest of details. I also miss watching 3D and animation movies in cinema theatres.

AMRUTA SUBHASH

I miss watching a film with popcorn in hand and friends by my side. In our busy lives, there’s this loneliness within. That sort of diminishes when we laugh and cry together while watching a film in a theatre with other people. Community watching is an unmatchable experience.

ARJUN MATHUR

Watching 3D films or any special effect extravaganza is what I can’t wait to experience again on the big screen. I miss going out with friends for a cinema experience. And, if I am part of a film that I am watching with others, then that’s a different high altogether.

KIRTI KULHARI

Watching something in the theatre is a very immersive experience. For those two-and-half hours, the outside world doesn’t exist. You can’t recreate anywhere. I enjoy watching movies from all over the world. I get transported to the world of the story I am watching, which doesn’t happen on smaller screens.

ZAREEN KHAN

Watching films while muching on popcorn in the company of friends will always be unmatched. Some movies have a larger than life canvas, and it cannot give you the same experience or visual treat if watched on a smaller screen.
