Crawling back to normalcy amid the pandemic, and after a total shutdown for almost six months, entertainm­ent industry is slowly opening up and resuming work. Vis-a-vis Bollywood film shoots, top names such as Aamir Khan (he reportedly shot for Laal Singh Chaddha a few days ago in Turkey), Akshay Kumar (currently shooting for Bell Bottom in Scotland) and Deepika Padukone (in Goa for Shakun Batra’s next, also starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday) have already hit the floors.

“Yes, we’re starting with a nearly 15-day long schedule in Mumbai,” confirms Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director, Anees Bazmee, adding, “Initially, we had planned to go back to Lucknow to restart the shoot, but now, we’re going ahead with Mumbai portions first. We’ll travel to Lucknow later at an opportune time.”

Second Innings shoot is likely to start around mid-October, in Mumbai, and makers are leaving no stone unturned with regards to Covid-19 induced safety protocols.

“It’s a beautiful, fun story, and so, I’m really looking forward to it,” says Rao, who last shot for The White Tiger, in December last year.

Besides, John Abraham is also likely to start work on Satyameva Jayate 2, in Lucknow, either sometime this month or beginning of October.
