Let’s go back to the basics. We’ve all heard this before and the year gone by has been a big bold reminder. Our lifestyle, as we knew it, has taken a 360 degree turn and it’s time to reinvent ourselves and go back to basics. As the saying goes, “Getting back to basics is the simplest way to find calm in chaos.”

First things first: Health. Let’s start with some simple and nature inspired tips to sustain a healthy lifestyle. I always advise my clients to stay as close to nature as they can. I’m a karmic healer and love nature in all forms – food is my favourite. I eat and urge all to eat most of what nature has to offer – seasonal fruits and vegetables, nuts, grains – rich in vitamins, minerals, fibre and natural sugars. They’re readily absorbed by body and nourishes it in and out. They’re ‘super immunity boosters’

Another tip is to adopt a diet that’s realistic and is as per your lifestyle. So, by reducing the quantities of food that you’ve daily, and by replacing unhealthy stuff with healthier options, you can attain your health and lifestyle goal.

Introduce a physical activity or a sport in your life. Like dance, yoga, swimming or simply standing up and walking in home or office when talking on the phone. Simple tweaks in routine go a long way. Trust me. I’m an expert. It not just helps you to keep fit but also relaxes stress and produces happy hormones – blessing you with a beautiful, youthful glow.

The knowledge of what’s in your plate and what should be there, can cure your body from a plethora of modern lifestyle complicati­ons. Remember, the key to eating right is to focus on that plate – the quantities, timing and nature of food you are eating. Eat well, sleep well, laugh a lot, be happy and heal your body through food naturally.
