Every canvas has a journey of its own. Actor Rohit Saraf took to Instagram to share this first-ever portrait painted by him. It took the actor 11 hours, and he was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Rohit, you are one multifaceted soul!
A SWEET REPUBLIC DAY WISH
Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra posted a lovely picture of herself with the Tricolour filter on Instagram, on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day. She wrote, “Let’s pledge to uphold the rights & duties that our constitution has given us... not only for ourselves, but also for each of our fellow citizens.” She The actor encouraged her fans to be healthy, happy and never forget to wear a mask.
FURRY WATER BABY
Director Farah Khan Kunder shared a video of her pet pooch Smoochy swimming in a lake, with her kids Czar, Anya and Diva cheering the furry baby on kayaks. She wrote, “Smoochy clearly didn’t need any help first time we took her to a farm... needy enough to head straight to her mommy...” Farah, she sure is a natural!
BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA
Flight Lieutenant Bhawana Kanth has created history by becoming the first woman fighter pilot to be part of the Indian Air Force contingent at the Republic Day parade held yesterday. Kanth is also one of the first women fighter pilots in the IAF. Kudos to woman power!
SALUTE TO BRAVEHEARTS
In a tribute to the nation on the 72nd Republic Day, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans marched on a frozen lake in Ladakh, at a height of 17,000 feet with the Tricolour. The border patrol force ITBP personnel chanted ‘Bharat mata ki jai’ (long live mother India).

Our reader Jasbir Nagpal shared with us how his son-in-law Kevin Pinto, who’s in merchant navy, took to painting. Due to Covid-19, Kevin could not report for duty and invested his time in the art form. With no formal training, we must say the creations have turned out beautifully.
