I believe I can pull off action films too, says Prachee
While her performances in TV shows and movies have proved Prachee Shah Paandya’s versatility, the actor has been featured often in the role of a mother. She denies that she has been stereotyped, and says she tries to make each role “interesting”.
“I believe that the word stereotype has a negative connotation. When you play a character which is well-appreciated, similar roles come to you organically as the makers believe that you will be able to play them to perfection,” says the actor, known for TV shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Ek ShringaarSwabhiman.
Paandya also hopes the industry looks at her for roles beyond the motherly ones. “I want to challenge myself. I am a trained equestrian, a sitar player, a Kathak dancer and have received basic military training. I’d like to believe that I can pull off action films. And age shouldn’t be a barrier, right? OTT is making some really good and experimental content. I want OTT to be my next step,” says the Laxmii actor. Her dream role is something similar to Shefali Shah’s character in Delhi Crime. “Her character was brilliantly written and she played it with aplomb. That would be an interesting space to explore,” Paandya concludes.
There are two kinds of face oils that are normally used in skincare. One is the silicon one, which is primarily used before makeup. This oil contains vitamins, minerals and essential oils, which give the necessary glow to the skin so that the makeup looks fantastic and stays on for a longer period of time as well. This is mainly used to prep the skin before applying makeup, and it is highly recommended. Another face oil that is used, in fact one that should always be used, is the one applied after cleansing and toning is done. This oil is used before applying moisturiser, and its work is to penetrate deep into the skin and hydrate it. I use both for my skincare routine.
