A DREAM HOUSE
Rabiya Naaz, who lives in a village in Pakistan, always wanted to build her own house. She is living her dream now, thanks to her YouTube channel Fashion Addiction which she operates despite poor electricity and internet facilities. With more than a lakh followers, she earns Rs 40,000-50,000 (PKR) a month. While most women in the village work in farms, Naaz followed her heart.

Actor-dancer Raghav Juyal is helping villages in his home state of Uttarakhand. In an Insta post on a primary health centre of Kaljikha, he wrote: “After reading an article on Pramila Devi losing her life because of delayed treatment and electricity, we contacted one Dr Anand and requested him to send us his list of requirements.”

Rupjyoti Saikia Gogoi, from Assam, is turning plastic waste into handloom. Gogoi, 47, lives in Kaziranga National Park, a major tourist attraction and a world heritage site. To reduce the plastic waste in the area, she collects and converts plastic waste into handloom by mixing it with cotton threads. Where there is a will, there is always a way.
A VILLAGE 100% VACCINATED!
A village in North Kashmir has bagged the title of being the first village in the country to fully vaccinate 100% of its population. In Weyan village of Bandipora district, everyone above the age of 18 got their double dose. The health team even busted myths regarding vaccination among villagers. Inspiring!
EMPOWERING ADIVASIS
Adivasi families in Karjat, Maharashtra, have been through some harrowing times in the lockdown. Apart from providing them with essentials, Chinu Ravindra Rama Kwatra, a social activist, is providing them skill development training to help the community eke out a living with dignity.

Creativity knows no limits. Kotini Mani Kanta, a BTech student at GIET University, Gunupur, Odisha, has created an automatic dustbin that opens up on its own when someone tries to throw litter in it. After accepting the trash, it closes slowly. The boy has shared a video of the same on his LinkedIn account, which has gone viral.
