The pandemic has been one of the most challenging times humanity has witnessed. The economy has taken a hit and the backbone of many businesses has been hurt. In such times, people like Dhruv Dutt, founder, The Counsellor, have taken it upon themselves to nurture start-ups and other businesses to build back India, stronger than the pre-pandemic era.

“During the pandemic most businesses have altered their way of operating, activities have become more digital and business processes automated. The businesses that couldn’t evolve with the change have taken a massive hit. My goal is to support established businesses by making sure they survive and adapt to newer trends and also help our indigenous start ups navigate during these difficult times,” says Dutt.

Dutt’s firm has served more than 500 start ups and is hoping to reach the 1000th mark soon. “Success or failure is a matter of perspective. Usually a start-up is unsuccessful because of inadequate business plan, lack of guidance and unreliable financial planning. The best way to rebuild your business is to not repeat your mistakes, learn from them and be confident,” advises Dutt.

Counselling businesses to change the way one views failure, Dutt has big plans for strengthening Indian economy. “It is important for any person to understand that failures in business and in life are valuable lessons. Failures give strength, the key is to not give up and keep on working hard. I help startups and businesses overcome their problems by providing professional and technical guidance as well as restructuring a venture’s business model. I do this to help my nation survive and thrive in the present circumstances, given the challenging economy. We will come out of this stronger,” concludes Dutt.
