Stars of Hollywood love reinventin­g themselves. From lifestyles to names — no change is too big. As Kanye West begins legal proceeding­s to change his name, we look at some such celebs.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Puffy, and Diddy — after a series of stage name changes, the 51year-old rapper officially has a new name, which he announced earlier this year. He changed his middle name from John to Love, and posted a photo of his new driver’s license on the gram. “Look what I just got in the mail. IT’S OFFICIAL!!! WELCOME TO THE LOVE ERA,” he captioned the photo of the Florida ID.

Kanye West

Back in 2018, rapper Kanye West announced that he’d be changing his stage name to Ye, after the release of his album titled Ye. Three years later, the 44-year-old has begun the legal proceeding­s to change his official name from Kanye Omari West to Ye, according to People.

Jonathan Cheban

Entreprene­ur Jonathan Cheban, who frequently appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashian­s with his best friend, Kim Kardashian West, has legally changed his name to Foodgod, according to TMZ. The documents were filed by Cheban, 45, in 2019.

Drake Bell

In an attempt to rebrand himself in November 2019, the actorsinge­r tweeted that moving forward, his social media pages would only be in Spanish. And his surname was changed to Campana — the Spanish word for Bell. The 35-year-old posted a photo on Instagram of his ID card where the name change was visible, according to Insider.

Snoop Dogg

When it comes to stage names, rapper Snoop Dogg, 49, has a long list. Back in 2012, he changed his name to Snoop Lion. One year later, ahead of an album with Dam-Funk, he took up the name Snoopzilla.
