Team Bhoot Police will stick to their original release date
ATHE FILM WILL PREMIERE ON SEPTEMBER 10, AS DECIDED ONE YEAR AGO
fter receiving tremendous response on the trailer and songs, makers of Bhoot Police have preponed its premiere to September 10, the original release date planned a year ago. Helmed by Pavan Kirpalani, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, the horror-comedy, starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, Jaaved Jaaferi and Jamie Lever in pivotal roles, is the perfect family entertainer, this season.
In the film, brothers Vibhooti (Khan) and Chiraunji (Kapoor) hunt ghosts around town. While Vibhooti is skilled to con people, Chiraunji takes his work seriously. They meet Kanika (Fernandez) and Maya (Gautam) while on a mission to deal with a ghost in the mountains.
Talking about the change in the release date, Taurani says, “Tips has consistently been genre agnostic. We believe in producing good content, and this script really spoke to us. Considering the overwhelming response the movie asset garnered, we decided to prepone the release to September 10, the original release date we had decided a year ago. We are glad that the movie is destined to release on the same date. We hope the audience will enjoy the movie with their family and friends.”
Puri shares, “Extremely happy with the way the audience responded to the trailer. It was one of the first films to begin shoot during the pandemic. This would not have been possible without the unconditional support of Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, Jaaved Jaaferi and the entire crew. It was indeed an honour to be associated with Tips Industries and working closely with Ramesh ji. With Bhoot Police, the director Pavan Kirpalani has definitely raised the bar for the horror-comedy genre.”
