A web series on Maa Vaishno Devi launched, a biography unveiled

-

JC Chaudhry, entrepreneur and founder of Maa Vaishno Devi Dham at Vrindavan, launched a television/web series titled Maa Vaishno Devi Ki Kahani, based on the incarnation and divine play of the Goddess, at a glittering function. It also saw the unveiling of a list of bhajans, titled Mata ki Bhetein — sung by Padma Shri awardee singer Sonu Nigam — as well as the biography of Chaudhry.

The launch event was graced by Nagendra Pratap Singh, vice chairman, Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority (MVDA) as the chief guest and Narayan Das Agrawal, chancellor, GLA University as the guest of honour.

The TV/web series is directed by Sagar World and produced by Aerika Cine Works, and comprises 11 episodes, each 30-minutes long. It will be aired on a popular general entertainment channel or an OTT platform soon. It aims to inspire people to seek the blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi to lead a life of dharma (righteousness), artha (essence of life), kama (desire) and moksha (enlightenment).

Talking about the launch of the TV series on Maa Vaishno Devi, Chaudhry says, “It is my earnest desire to present the life of the Goddess in visual media to inspire people to seek her blessings to attain success in all dimensions of life. A lot of hard work and meticulous efforts have gone into making the series authentic and enlightening. The series shows how the Goddess was born, grew up, her playful childhood and how she protects her devotees.”

The biography of Chaudhry, on the other hand, traces his journey from a humble beginning as a faculty member of a college in Haryana, to building Aakash Institute into one of the largest coaching institutions in India, all with the love, care and blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi. It recounts the inspirational life of the visionary personality that he is, while highlighting the challenges he overcame, with hard work and determination in institution building, charitable activities and religious endeavours. Also, a significant part of the book is dedicated to numerology, his life-long passion.

“Biographies are the best way to share knowledge that one has gained over a lifetime, for the benefit of others. And in this book, I have attempted to do just that. I hope that the views and experiences from my journey of 40 years in the domains of academics, entrepreneurship, numerology, and spirituality would be useful, especially for younger generations,” says Chaudhry.
