Funcity Surya Amusement and Water Park, Chandigarh is Punjab’s biggest amusement and water park, spread over a massive 43 acres of scenic land. The park was a trendsetter when it opened in 1994 and has managed to live up to its initial glory over the last few decades. Situated just outside Chandigarh, it makes for a easy weekend getaway as well. It is the only one of its kind in the state, since the combination of an amusement park, a water park and a resort cannot be found anywhere else in Punjab. The thrilling and hi-tech hydraulic rides here include rides like the Big Apple, Octopus, Kids Castle, Cricket Zone, Space Walk and many more rides to keep you and your kids busy all day long. The biggest thrills, however, are to be found at Wunder Water, the in-house water park which claims to be one of the biggest water parks in the country with three landing pools, an activity pool, a wave pool and 16 different water slides including a few for smaller children.
