Vaishali Bisht’s theatre work­shops are all about dis­cov­er­ing the phys­i­cal, creative and emo­tional ex­pres­sion that’s unique to ev­ery child, through a se­ries of in­sight­ful ex­er­cises. Hav­ing stud­ied theatre at Can­ter­bury and con­ducted work­shops for over 11 years, she brings along a rich ex­pe­ri­ence to her work­shops. Chil­dren here are en­cour­aged to use their own imag­i­na­tions to ex­plore their po­ten­tial with body lan­guage, voice and creative think­ing ex­er­cises. Act­ing is only a part of train­ing in theatre as chil­dren also learn vi­tal skills like team work and fo­cus. The big­gest ben­e­fit from this work­shop is that chil­dren be­come more con­fi­dent and aware of them­selves.
