Let your chil­dren get their hands dirty and set their imag­i­na­tions free as they cre­ate char­ac­ters from their favourite sto­ries not on pa­per but with clay. This work­shop trains chil­dren through guided ex­er­cises and also lets them cre­ate mod­els in­de­pen­dently. To make things in­ter­est­ing, chil­dren are also ex­posed to var­i­ous kinds of im­agery to give them ideas on what to cre­ate. This in­cludes sto­ries from In­dian mythol­ogy be­sides pyra­mids and mum­mies from Egypt and clay tablets from Baby­lo­nia. Not only will chil­dren learn easy and fun ways to cre­ate these images from clay but they will also pick up a bunch of sto­ries along the way.
