With the sun blazing down and the annual vacations lazily stretching out, it’s time to let your kids forget about their homework and bring on the fun factor. Before they begin to settle down in front of the idiot box for re- runs of old cartoons, check out some of these great options to keep them up and running, while having a terrific time doing so.

THEATRE

Spearheaded by veteran theatre artist Ramanjit Kaur, The Creative Arts Studio encourages children to not just enact plays but also direct, write scripts and pick up production techniques. Learning the various attributes that make up a good theatre person, both on- stage and off it are taught to children here. Besides nurturing an inquisitive mind, creativity and imagination are also developed here with the use of codified theatre games. The studio also offers training in mime and creative writing for children.
