SCIENCE
If science classes in school are getting a tad boring, then maybe it’s time to put those books away and head to the great outdoors. Places such as the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum bring textbooks to life as many innovative projects are on display all around the colonial mansion that houses the museum. Walk your children through the physics, transport, electricity, mathematics or bio- technology galleries for better understanding of science concepts. At the popular science gallery, they can try their hands at various scientific experiments. The underground mock- up coal mine presents a view of the coal mine through a light and sound show. Summer camps on Physics, Chemistry, Life Science, Mathematics, Art and Craft, Geography and Astronomy, assembling your computer and designing your webpage will be held at the museum. The last date for registrations is May 15.
