Bright walls with quirky mugs, candles in multi- hued ceramic buckets and bar games tempt you to fill up your shopping bag even before you head to the inner section. Here you’ll find Sheepstop t- shirts, attractive trinkets by Swa and fancy Bollywood- inspired clutches that fill the racks. The multi- designer store by Mumbaibased couple Mallika Desai Thakker and Priyal Thakker started out in a bungalow in Versova, Mumbai, as a platform for upcoming designers. On their list now are some of India’s best known names in kitsch— Happily Unmarried has its funky ashtrays, glasses, coasters and bar accessories. Pop the Pourri and Eco Corner have their candles, mugs, wallets and tees by Cheap Sex.
