As I belong to Amritsar, I simply love the slightly chaotic bazaars. The city’s cloth shops offer the best export quality cotton fabric, kurtis and salwars. Also, for ethnic wear and phulkari dupattas, nothing beats the sheer variety available at the Phulkari Store in Chandigarh’s sector 17.
Mafadeny in Panchkula is one of my favourite stores to shop at. They have a gorgeous collection of dresses, jumpsuits, designer bags and funky accessories. Among boutique stores, I love the nicely done up Voila in Chandigarh for their resplendent anarkaris and trendy party wear saris.
