WINGED WONDER

The trademark flügeltüren or gullwing doors of the MercedesBenz SLS AMG, that slide open upwards is a thing of striking automobile beauty. Its advanced safety features, brilliant driving dynamics and of course great design makes this sports car one of the finest vehicles in the world. It is also the first time that Mercedes- Benz and AMG have crafted a car’s outer skin and body shell structure out of aluminium. The AMG Drive Unit is the central control unit for the seven- speed transmission and other driving dynamics functions.
