ISHA KOPPIKAR

SKIN CARE REGIME

I am very particular about cleansing, toning and moisturising my skin. I prefer creams made of natural ingredients. Natural moisturisers like coconutbased ones penetrate deep into the skin and are absorbed easily to leave skin looking smooth and non- sticky. A good sunscreen is an absolute must.

HAIR CARE ROUTINE

My hair tends to get frizzy and unmanageable and demands extra care. Due to a lot of exposure to the sun, pollution and countless styling treatments, my hair goes through a lot of stress. I opt for a conditioning massage with coconut oil to nourish it back to health. To get rid of sweat, I shampoo and condition my hair thrice a week.

HOT TIPS

When your hair is exposed to summer heat, it’s imperative to keep it free from dirt and stickiness. Use a mild shampoo and conditioner thrice a week to keep your scalp clean.

Knotting your hair or braiding it will protect it from getting entangled and breaking. Wear a scarf or a hat to protect your hair from sun damage.

Staying hydrated is very essential for healthy hair. Drink plenty of water, coconut water and juices.

IN MY CASE

Lip balm, moisturiser ( La Prairie), Mac eye liner, a flat comb

DIYA MIRZA

SKIN CARE REGIME

I make sure I know what the weather is like in the place I am travelling to. For me there is only one rule to keep my skin healthy and that is to use a moisturiser that works best in the weather conditions I’m in. I don’t fuss too much. I just make sure I cleanse and moisturise my face. Also, I never forget to take my make up off before going to bed. I use an under- eye cream at night and a gentle face scrub. On a flight, I don’t wear any make- up and make sure my face and under- eye area are well moisturised.

HAIR CARE ROUTINE

I find that tying hair loosely in a low pony tail really works during flights. The hair doesn’t get static and is comfortable to rest in. Also depending on the weather, I determine the amount of conditioner to use. For instance, in cold places the hair can get dry so I use a moisture- intensive conditioner or hair butter. In humid places, I use less conditioner to avoid greasy hair.

HOT TIPS

Shampoo and condition your hair every two days.

Use hair butter twice a week. Leave it in for two minutes and then rinse. Trim hair regularly. Get yourself an oil massage once every two weeks.

IN MY CASE

The Body Shop mascara, lip stainer, kohl, moisturiser and passion fruit lip gloss.

Use bands with metal closures and barrettes with smooth edges that don’t damage or tear your hair. Avoid hair dryers.

ANUSHKA SHARMA

SKIN CARE REGIME

Moisturising your skin is important no matter what time of the year. Natural ingredients-based creams keep your skin supple through the day.

HAIR CARE ROUTINE

I like to indulge and pamper my hair. A hot coconut oil conditioning treatment works wonders as it provides the necessary nourishment for my scalp and hair.

HOT TIPS

Keep yourself well hydrated by drinking plenty of water and eating fruits such as melons, watermelons and oranges to maintain your moisture balance.

Use bands with metal closures, barrettes with smooth edges that do not damage or tear your hair. Before stepping out in the sun, cover your head with a scarf, umbrella or hat.

Opt for natural remedies to regain the shine and strength of your hair.

Avoid using hair dryers as they cause damage to your hair. Dry them naturally instead. Nivea sunscreen and cleanser

NARGIS FAKHRI

SKIN CARE REGIME

I prefer to go natural with all my beauty products and treatments as they are gentle and very effective. While travelling, I make sure I don’t forget the basics of my skin care routine which is cleansing and moisturising. Sun block is a must. I drink plenty of coconut water to keep my system free of toxins.

HAIR CARE ROUTINE

I make sure I give my hair a 20minute deep conditioning massage with hot coconut oil. It’s an instant solution that penetrates the scalp and locks in the moisture into the hair shaft, leaving them soft and smooth.

HOT TIPS

I make sure I don’t tie my hair very tightly as it causes unnecessary damage. It’s best to keep hairstyles simple.

A rich diet of fruit and vegetables gives me my share of antioxidants which keep my hair healthy.

IN MY CASE

Parachute Advansed Hot Oil, La Prairie skin care, Armani foundation, Neutrogena facewash and Yves Saint Laurent concealer

A 20- minute deep conditioning massage with hot coconut oil is my nonnegotiable hair care ritual. I get my share of anti- oxidants from fruits and vegetables.
