KINGSIZE MAKEOVER

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Undergoing a giant makeover from a utilitarian water cleaning station into a sprawling residence, this building bears testimony to the unlikely yet striking integration between industrial and home design elements. The 5,400 sq ft, 3- bedroom, 3- bathroom loft belongs to former Belgian army pilot Philippe Tondeur. Its modern transformation, assisted with the help of Belgian interior designer Bernadette Jacques, took almost 15 years to complete.
