An alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College and a 1999 batch IAS officer, Shubha Sarma has turned author with her first book Fly On The Wall And Other Stories. For more than a decade, Sarma served in the tribal districts of Odisha where she mobilised support to empower women and addressed issues concerning left- wing extremism. In these 13 stories, Sarma who is presently serving in the Culture Ministry in New Delhi, looks at the realities and contradictions of an evolving India.
