It will be battleground Uttar Pradesh through October for Congress Vice- President Rahul Gandhi and BJP’s Narendra Modi. Rahul’s rally on October 9 in Rampur and Aligarh will be followed by a Modi rally in Kanpur on October 19. Rahul will hold two more rallies on October 22 in Hamirpur and Salempur. Modi will have one rally on October 25 in Bahraich and on October 30 in Jhansi. In between, Modi hopes to make a huge splash in Patna, with the Hunkar Rally. BJP hopes to raise over 1 crore signatures on a petition it has placed at BJP kiosks at puja pandals. The demand: Modi for Prime Minister. Now, only if it were enough to win Bihar.
